Installation
Power down the pump and close off valves as required for safety
Remove the existing vacuum plate from the skimmer throat and inspect the gasket for wear replace if damaged
Align the new vacuum plate with the skimmer opening and press firmly until it seats evenly and securely
Restore power run for several minutes, and check for leaks or misalignment around the edges
Care and longevity
Rinse the plate with fresh water after heavy debris periods and wipe clean to prevent buildup regular checks for cracks or warping will help prevent leaks and ensure continued optimal suction. Storing the plate in a dry shaded area when not in use helps extend its service life
